My Dad has been hand-making his legendary Saul Swags from regional Victoria for as long as I can remember.
Back in those days, Dad was making a lot of horse rugs and cow rugs and many of his customers would chat to him about their camping and droving adventures. Out of these discussions, he realised there was an opportunity to produce a top quality, low maintenance, a product that would keep people dry and comfortable in the bush.
It had to be hard-wearing. Farmers and cattlemen work hard so they expect their tools and equipment to stand up to whatever is thrown at them.
It also had to be functional. It had to be easy to use, waterproof and virtually unbreakable.
Buying a swag with zippers, velcro or press studs is like buying a headache. Eventually, those things are going to break and then you’ll be stuffed. You don’t need to worry about that with a Saul Swag. We’ve purposely designed it to be built to last with fasteners that can take what nature throughs at them.
Buying a swag from overseas could be made out of cheap, toxic-laden chemicals is like buying poison. All night you could be breathing in chemicals like arsenic, formaldehyde and even worse. Yet people are buying these things for their kids to sleep in without knowing the possible dangers they could be exposing them to.
These days with our busy lives, it’s hard to drag ourselves away from our electronic devices and really enjoy the wonderful experiences this fabulous country has blessed us with. Dad’s Saul Swags help you make memories that will last a lifetime. I couldn’t be prouder of what he’s achieved and the care he puts into every single swag he makes. He’s even started signing each one so you can be sure it’s handmade by him.
How many businesses produce a product in their own shed? Cutting, sewing, folding and sending off every single swag ever made with his own hands. This is truly a lovingly produced, Aussie product that will stand the test of time and be a part of the memories you create for many years to come.
But since he’s my Dad you may not want to take just my word on it so here are some reviews we’ve had over the years for you to check out for yourself:
